The phlebotomy program teaches students the proper techniques for performing a variety of blood collection methods, including vacuum collection devices, syringes, capillary skin puncture and butterfly needles.  It is a combination of classroom instruction, hospital lab, and practical experience in patient care settings.

Note: the class is held two nights a week for 13 weeks, but is not held on holidays.

This 105-hour course, held two nights a week for 18 weeks, will prepare the student to work as a Medical Office Assistant.  Students will be eligible to take the professional certification exam upon completion of the course.

This non-accredited study course includes terminology and an overview of the medical claim and process from the initial patient appointment through the final financial transaction.  This 57-hour course, held over 19 weeks excluding holidays, will benefit anyone in the medical field (new or established) including medical billers and coders, receptionists, medical assistants, and office nurses.  Students will be eligible to take the professional certification exam upon completion of the course.
