This 132-hour program, held during the daytime for 5 weeks, includes medical terminology, basic patient care skills, related anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and patient observation techniques. Instruction is also provided on health, eligible to take the New Yorks State Nurse Aide Certification Exam which is necessary to work as a certified Nurse Aide in a long term-care facility.
