Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES

The phlebotomy program teaches students the proper techniques for performing a variety of blood collection methods, including vacuum collection devices, syringes, capillary skin puncture and butterfly needles.  It is a combination of classroom instruction, hospital lab, and practical experience in patient care settings.

 Tuition: $1200; Textbooks: $100; AMCA Phlebotomy Technician Certification: $109.

Note: the class is held two nights a week for 13 weeks, but is not held on holidays.
